How do I sign in?
Open the app, enter your email, and we'll send you a sign-in link. Tap it on the same device and you're in. No password to remember.
The sign-in link didn't work.
Some email clients preview links before you click them, which can use up the link. If that happens, just request a new one — each link is single-use, but new ones are free.
How are handicaps applied?
We use the USGA course handicap formula: handicap index × slope ÷ 113 + (rating − par), rounded to the nearest stroke. Strokes are distributed across the 18 holes by the standard low-stroke-index-first rule. Net score is your gross score minus the strokes you got on that hole.
Can the trip admin edit a score after the round is over?
Yes. Admins can edit any score at any time. When they do, every bet that depended on that score is re-settled automatically, so payouts stay correct.
What size group does Scoreboard support?
Any size. A buddy weekend with eight players or a charity outing with forty — the rotation, leaderboard, and bets all scale. You pick the playing-group size (twos, threes, or fours) when you set up the trip.
How many rounds can a trip have?
As many as you want. One-day shootouts, three-round weekends, week-long trips. You can also set how many of the lowest rounds drop from the trip total — or have them all count.
Does Scoreboard work without an internet connection?
Scoring does. Tap a score and it's saved on your phone immediately. When you're back in service, it syncs up and fans out to everyone in your trip — no button to push.
How do I delete my account?
From inside the app, or email support@scoreboardgolf.app with the subject "Delete my account." We'll confirm and process it within a few days.
Where can I read your privacy policy?
scoreboardgolf.app/privacy. The short version: we collect what we need to run the app and nothing more. No ads, no data brokers, no tracking across other apps.
